About the Case
The aim of this job was to demolish an elevated reservoir, which had been condemned, without the use of manual labor because the client did not allow any workers to stand on or under the structure of the reservoir.
We designed a metal platform that would be strong enough to withstand the impacts generated by the demolition, where the robot could work on it in complete safety.
To solve the problem of visualizing the demolition of the reservoir’s calyx, which was 32.0 m high, we placed the operators on an articulated lifting platform 42.0 m high, where we were able to work quite satisfactorily.
After demolishing the chalice, the support structure remained, and now, with a better view, we were able to meet the client’s requirements and finish the job with professionalism and mastery.
