About the Case

Furacon, a specialist in high-rise demolition, was chosen for this challenging project, carried out at a height of 60 meters. For the first time in Brazil, controlled demolition was carried out on a chimney flanked by two others, using a demolition robot with remote controls.

Weighing around 2 tons, the robot was lifted to the top of the chimney to begin demolition, using a methodology specifically developed for this client. The total demolition was carried out in just 5 working days, fully meeting the expectations of the client, who had already experienced major difficulties and frustrations with other contractors.
