Furacon – Rotary Kiln Refractory Demolition Project – Cubatão
As specialists in industrial furnace demolition, Furacon was contracted to demolish the refractory lining of a rotary kiln in Cubatão using our remote-controlled demolition robot. The primary objectives were to reduce worker exposure inside the kiln while doubling the demolition area – all without extending the planned shutdown period.
For this project, we deployed our remote-operated demolition robot equipped with a 270 kg Atlas Copco hydraulic breaker, specifically configured to meet the client’s challenging requirements.
The results exceeded expectations:
